Sargent employs highly efficient glass lining as opposed to epoxy or enamel paint in its turbine pump bowls. Coupled with the high efficient enclosed impeller, this makes Sargent brand pumps the most dependable, longest lasting turbine bowls in the market.

Every Sargent brand bowl comes backed by real world efficiency numbers. This means every Sargent bowl assembly is guaranteed to perform to specification.

Our bowl castings are constructed of class 30 30,000psi tensile strength grey iron. Bolted together with stainless steel bolts, and upon request can have C89835 lead free bronze wear rings installed for your municipal applications.

Our impellers are cast from 85-5-5-5 red brass. 85% copper, 5% lead, 5% tin, and 5% zinc, balanced to within 1/2 inch-oz. For municipal applications, they are cast from C876 lead free also upon request. Stainless steel, drive in collets come standard in all models of Sargent brand pumps.

We use only the highest quality #416, turned, ground, and polished stainless steel for our bowl shafts, and are straightened to within .003”

Each bowl assembly is engineered and designed for the particular application, and can be checked in our state of the art, test lab facility if required. Proven reliability, that’s the Sargent way.
